We are delighted to be working with the Aberdeen Kaifong Welfare Association Services Centre (AKA), with funding from “21C Innovation Fund Scheme” by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust*, to deliver innovative 3D printing courses to their members.
Together, we created a two-month, six-session 3D printing course focused on designing personalized darts. Participants learned 3D design software, printing techniques, and product design basics, tailoring dart shafts and flights to individual hand shapes and throwing styles.
The response has been amazing! Many participants are now exploring 3D printing further, even practicing outside of class. We're incredibly proud to be part of this project, fostering innovation and creativity among Hong Kong's youth. We hope to bring the exciting world of 3D printing to even more communities in the future!
*"21C Innovation Fund Scheme" is a project aims to encourage the cooperation between teenagers and social workers, inspires the power of "youth and adult co-creation", to construct new spaces, new services and new user experiences for Integrated Children and Youth Services Centres (ICYSCs).
